Deconstructing the sounds of your favourite artists.

My name is Matthew Vere, but when I created this channel back in 2014, I used the artist alias 'Vanity' for my electronic musings.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Audio Technology, I started Beats by Vanity TV because I couldn't find the tutorials I wanted to watch.

In addition to these tutorials, I release audio sample libraries on Samples by Vanity. These libraries have been used by artists like Øneheart and Porter Robinson and are trusted by Grammy Award-winning producers of: Eminem, Madonna, Lil Wayne, Jennifer Lopez, Khalid, and Demi Lovato, among others.
