The Dutch duo WAAN return with “Talking Trees”, the first single from their upcoming album We Want WAAN, out January 23, 2026 on Sonar Kollektiv.

A slow-burning blend of trip-hop textures, analog synths, and melancholic saxophone, the track was born on the island of Texel and shaped in the studio with Oscar de Jong (Kraak & Smaak).

Inspired by the silent communication of white pines, “Talking Trees” is a beautiful metaphor for connection in uncertain times.
