Coral Island Farmers, two things: a thank you and an apology.


Thank you, Farmers!
This release has made Coral Island the most stable it’s ever been, and we couldn’t have done it without your feedback. At the same time, we hear you loud and clear, some old bugs have resurfaced with the transition to multiplayer, and we’re working hard to smooth them out.


Because of that, we want to sincerely apologize for the issues you’ve experienced, especially the single-player problems. We understand how frustrating it is to update the game and see some old bugs resurface.


Here’s what we’re focusing on right now:


- Fixing single-player bugs caused by the transition to multiplayer.

- Addressing the remaining connection issues so multiplayer feels smooth and stable.


We’re also bringing back the beta channels on our Discord so we can roll out fixes more efficiently. You can see more details, along with the list of what we’re currently working on below.

On top of this, we’ve scheduled paid overtime this week and next in an effort to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

- Auto-sort toggle no longer available for chests.
- Price details not showing up after selling an item.
- Auto SFH unable to harvest all crops.
- Magnet range for floaties needs to be widened.
- Players requesting an option to toggle the “wrong tool” SFX in settings.
- No fire on bonfire at the beach during night.
- Lamp near beach appears off but still casts shadows.


Known Issues in 1.2
- Museum opening cutscene: all NPCs should wear their current seasonal outfits.

- Baby names reset to default.
- Arcade Center reverts to construction state despite being completed in a previous version.
- Merfolk form on land bug (player can use merfolk form outside intended areas).
- Some monsters can still damage the player after death (needs verification if it’s specific types or all).


Fixes Not Yet Pushed in 1.2


- Indoor furniture appears on the farm after using “Undo Move” in Decor Mode.
- Inventory full message appears even when empty slots remain.
- Player unable to complete Neighbor’s Help Quest from Paul.
- Lost all 15 hearts with spouse after gifting items to other townies.
- Camera shake appears on host when guest attacks mobs in the Cave of Memories.
- Stamina doesn’t recover in hot spring when host is in the ocean/underwater.
- Steam Deck: unable to scroll down character list in Relationship tab fully.
- Greenhouse trees lose leaves after harvesting.
- Fishing animation bugs after going underwater.
- Certain hairstyle materials don’t match hair color.
- Scalp color not matching hair strands color.

Hello Multiplayer Farmers! We’ve seen many reports of players being unable to access multiplayer, and we’ve identified the issue as being related to our servers.

To address this, we will be performing a server upgrade on August 15th at 2 AM PDT / 4 PM WIB. The process will take approximately 30 minutes. Thank you, farmers!
