We live in a society where people care less when a person is sad, depressed, going through hardship. When they try to express themselves, they are told 'you are weak, incapable of getting your life together, everyone is going through challenges yet you are the only one complaining.'

They dont try to understand or empathize with you.

They are the same people who will cry for the person who ends up taking his/her own life because -
they were not heard or understood,
they were tired,
they chose to surrender,
they were suffering in silence,
they were shamed for speaking their truth.

You never know what someone is going through.
Be more attentive towards your loved ones. Dont push them to give up. Talk to them, hear them out. Be there when they need you.
