Mr. Vikas Singh has built a distinguished legal career spanning over thirty five years at the Supreme Court of India. He was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate in 2004 and later served as the Additional Solicitor General for the Government of India from 2005 to 2008. Bihar Election dates have been announced and soon we will see political parties declare a slew of Freebies in their manifestoes. We hardly ever stop to think about how these freebies are funded and whether they are sustainable. I feel that this freebie culture should be ended in fact it should be made illegal by the Government.

Why should it take 5 years to complete a Law Degree?
Even doctors don't take this long to get their degree while finishing their initial training. I believe that 3 years is more than enough for Law Degrees and to make the course meaningful students should be asked to attend courts for 1 year during the period of their studies.
