This one surprised me. The Head Extreme Pro felt like a completely different racquet than what I expected. Not in a bad way, but it's definitely not for everyone. This racquet has one flaw and it took me weeks of testing to even find it.
I've been putting in real time with the Wilson Defyer 98 Pro, and I can say: massive sweet spot, serves that sound like a gunshot, depth that comes easy at every swing speed. The one knock? Low volleys. Balls below the waist where you need pure touch and stability — it felt just a little weak there.
Everything else is top-two racquet of the year for me.
