Early take on the TFight 315…

More power than I expected.
But the feel surprised me.

Have you tried it?

I’ve reviewed a lot of 'power' racquets lately (Dunlop FX 500, Wilson Steam). But lately, I’ve realized that no racquet can save you if your fitness isn't there.

If you had to pick one for your game right now, which would you prioritize?

On the road this weekend for a couple of my juniors next event. 🚗 No filming at the tournament, but I’ve got my running shoes and my Extreme Pro in the back.

Question for the coaches and parents: What’s your #1 'must-have' item for a long tournament weekend? (Mine is extra-strength coffee ☕️)

12 years ago. No indoor courts, sub-zero temperatures, and a Wilson BLX. ❄️ I used to hit off the garage door for hours just to keep my feel during the winter. I didn't have any indoor facilities, but I had the grind.

If you’re a junior (or a parent) feeling stuck because you don't have a fancy club nearby, just know that the garage door doesn't miss. It’s the best hitting partner I ever had.

Who else grew up hitting against a wall or a garage?

The Australian Open has been wild so far. As a player and coach, I'm watching the movement of guys like Alcaraz and Sinner and it's next level.

Spent some time with the Dunlop FX500 Tour this week.

I really wanted to love it… and I kind of do, but there’s one thing holding it back for me.

Full review dropping tomorrow. Curious to hear: have you played with it yet?

It’s 6:30 AM.

Back in college, I’d be halfway through a conditioning block right now. These days, it’s a struggle just to get my own hitting session in before a full day of coaching.

For the former athletes out there: What part of 'The Process' do you miss the most?

Australian Open Qualies start tomorrow. As a former college player, this is the part of the tour I respect the most—128 players fighting for 16 spots and a life-changing paycheck. Who do you think is the hardest player to beat in a 3-set 'Qualies' dogfight?
