Laney was brought into animal control this morning, and we rushed her straight to the hospital. She is heartbreakingly emaciated—every bone visible—weak, and in urgent need of medical care.

Yet despite everything she’s endured, Laney is incredibly sweet, gentle, and trusting, as if she knows she’s finally safe 🤍

We don’t yet know how much damage her body has suffered or what led to her condition, but far too often animals from this area arrive in this same state of severe malnutrition. What we do know is that Laney needs immediate help: diagnostics, stabilization, proper nutrition, and ongoing medical support.
