Two OKCAW e-lister alumni ❤️‍🩹 these two were facing euthansia for fear and kennel space. Scared and shutdown dogs have a special place in my heart 🥹 Toph just left yesterday for trial adoption and I already got an update that she's doing well with her new family! Sokka will be neutered this week and become adoptable. Letting go of these ones is always so hard because my first memory is of them in the shelter, scared and alone. And then I see how far they come at my home and I give away a piece of my heart when they leave. But I'm thankful they're both alive today ❤️

Today did not start like I expected! I got an animal alert on my camera and totally expected it to be my dogs. But I saw a dog darting around. I went down to check it out and he was curled up in this corner by the gate. I had to go put some of my dogs up, so thought he might just be a neighbors wandering around. But he stayed down there for an hour. So I figured he was scared and presumed dumped. I brought him up to my house and then took to vet for microchip and confirmed no chip. So for now I'm keeping him safe and fed and played with until he can be reunited or fostered to be adopted!
