I have been very detached with reality and as a result, I no longer find joy in what I used to do, including music. Besides music, I also do graphic design meaning that I am also responsible for the cover art and the videos that I upload. I have come to a realization that I have taken this passion I discovered about 5 years ago and I have turned it into a job, constantly pressuring myself to do better. This also stems from my own personal flaws like being a perfectionist, leading me to always overthink everything I do and simply being too mentally exhausted to create.
As a result, my mental health has taken a hit and so with this post, I say that I will be taking an indefinite break so that I can fix myself and find joy in what I do again.
On a positive note, this isn't a goodbye, I will catch all of y'all on the flip side!
In 2023, I made a promise to myself that I'm going to take risks and put myself out there for my art to be seen. Since my first upload, y'all have viewed and showed love and I really appreciate it. I'm just taking a small break but I will be back.
