A culinary love letter to Chinatown 🥢 CHOP SUEY CHOW CLUB is now open at The Living Room in Hotel Belmont Vancouver, featuring a limited-time kitchen takeover by Chef William Lew and Chef Sharon Chan of @mamainthekitchen.

Until July 31, experience dishes rooted in memory and legacy, inspired by the classic comfort of Hong Kong cafés and Chinatown institutions past and present.  Wednesday to Sunday, 4PM to late.  Live DJ - Friday & Saturday.

The menu reimagines nostalgic favourites like XO Siu Mai, Typhoon Shelter Jumbo Prawns, Sweet and Sour Rockfish, Wild Mushroom Chow Mein, BBQ Pork, and Mango Tapioca Pudding.

Cocktails include playful house creations such as the Taro Milk, Ma Fan Marg with Sichuan chili tequila, and the floral Persimmon Lycheetini.

The Five Flavour Feast lets you build your own tasting menu by selecting any five items from the food menu for $75. It’s a shareable way to explore the range of comforting, bold, and reimagined Chinatown dishes.

My favourites were the XO Siu Mai, Sweet & Sour Rockfish, Chop Suey, Wild Mushroom Chow Mein and Szechuan Chicken Wings from the media preview I attended.
