The White Arrow is the sacred union of two souls (Marijn De Wit & Juanita Pyl). From the fusion of their last names emerged a new spirit — one that touches hearts and lights the way for others. Their music, rooted in their shamanic heritage, is inspired by the whispers of plant spirits, giving life to a project that blends acoustic medicine songs with atmospheric, inner journey sounds. Their heart-opening music serves as a bridge to the inner world, offering a connection to higher dimensions of consciousness. Their pilgrimages to sacred sites across the globe have connected them with indigenous wisdom keepers, whose teachings they now weave into a rich tapestry of song and ceremony. Their voices sing of an ancient love — one that transcends conditioning, rooted in light and guided by the heart. To prepare for our cacao ceremony, we spent a lovely day in the park, enjoying each other’s company and making music. This is a live version of Caspi Runa, a track from our debut album, "Opening of the Heart."

Dear friends, today a new release. A live recording of our icaro 'la casa del Senor'. We interpreted this icaro, taught by Maestro Juan Flores, in our own way. The result is a gentle Huarmi Icaro (Icaro songs intended to warm our hearts and help us feel our own gentle fragile being). We performed this live version together with Johannes Siemann during the Valentine's Heartbeat earlier this year, a special edition of which many songs ended up on our live CD.
The creator's house... where is that? For us, it is our own spirit. Where is that spirit located? In your body, in your heart, in your entire being... everywhere. Breaking free from everything that keeps us trapped in the illusion of so-called existence. Awakening in a new field of perception... immersing ourselves in the immense lessons of Mother Nature... Dear friends, I've made a new breathwork mix for you here. It's an old mix I had lying around. I made it in 2018 when I returned from my first trip to Mayantuyacu. After the death of my previous maestra, I'd been searching for a new maestro for a few years...the spirits guided me to Juan Flores (we also created a playlist of his teaching videos). During that first trip, I was introduced to his icaros and encountered some music along the way, such as in the taxi or on the car to the Boiling River. I've compiled all this music into this playlist. My beloved Maestro is currently not doing well.Those that have been fortunate to find their way to Mayantuyacu over the years, to sit in ceremony with Maestro Flores, to learn about the mysteries of the plants, and to simply be in the presence of his glowing smile, know how special the place is. In a modern world where it seems confusion and fear reigns, Mayantuyacu was a refuge for what is true and eternal. Through Maestro's teachings, healing, and medicine, his spirit and great love has reached every corner of the world. I thank him for so much love and patience, and for teaching me to trust. Trust and hope...and to follow the light of my own medicine.
Right now, the priority for Maestro Flores is that he can spend his final days at home receiving palliative care and be surrounded by family. This process requires significant medical support and cost. During this sacred time, Mayantuyacu will not be operating and incapable of generating revenue. We are launching this fundraiser so that the global Mayantuyacu community can contribute to the well-being of Maestro Flores, but also to protect Mayantuyacu at this time of change. In due time, Mayantuyacu will reopen as a place for plant medicine and ceremony, and Maestro's vision will live on. Our hope is that the funds raised in this campaign will ensure this transformative time is navigated with love and care.
Maestro Flores, his family and the Mayantuyacu team are forever grateful for your financial support at this time. This campaign is being coordinated with the family and we will give updates when we can.

TWO NEW SINGLES THIS SUMMER
This summer, inbetween vacations, we're releasing two singles on streaming services. On July 28th, we'll release Chacrunita Princesita and on August 15th, the Somko Remix of "Medicina de los Rios."

"Chacrunita Princesita" can be found on our album "El Camino Dorado." Marijn about this song: “This medicine song came to me, along with the song Machipuro Tabacito, during my dieta in Peru with the plant teacher Ishpingo in 2022. This was the first time Juanita and I were together in Mayantuyacu. It was a very special journey full of healing for our relationship. Ishpingo is a plant medicine that has a strong effect on the respiratory tract and brings the curandero much wisdom in the use of voice and breath. This song is a hymn to the colorful spirit of the Chacruna. She brings light to the visions and dances with the spirit of the Kamarampi. Together they form the sacred marriage of Ayahuasca. On July 28th, I turn 50, a beautiful moment to share this song with the world.”

On August 15th, we will release a remix of Medicina de los Rios. We released the original track in 2024 on the album "El Camino Dorado." Not long after, musician "Somko" contacted us to ask us to do a remix. We first released the remix of our song "Free Me" under his name, and now it's time to share this remix with the world. We personally think he made the track complete with the addition of the beats.
