I'm a weekend mechanic showing how I fix problems and perform maintenance on my own cars as cheap as possible, and sometimes for free. I also occasionally do work for friends and family that trust me enough to turn a few wrenches on their cars. I link all the parts and tools that I use in the video descriptions and I'm adding chapters to my videos to help you access the information you need quicker. I figure if you have found one of my videos, you want to know how I did something specific, so I even include some mistakes that I make along to way and show how I solve the self-inflicted problems that go hand-in-hand with learning as you go. My primary purpose is to provide content that helps encourage and empower others to work on their own cars too!

Subscribe and follow along with me if you'd like to save some money, learn something new, and get the satisfaction of fixing your own vehicle yourself! 🛠️

Grateful to be here,
Ben

I took a break over the last couple weeks from work and YouTube to focus on family. My wife and I have a new baby boy and my daughter got married last week. Exciting stuff! Just wanted to give a quick update since I've been essentially inactive for a couple weeks. It's always good to spend some time recharging the ol' batteries. New videos will be up soon. 🔧BACK AT IT! 🔧

Celebrating hitting 2,112 subscribers by paying homage to my favorite band! Just try to help me keep the news from getting to the priests of the Temples of Syrinx!

Join me tonight for the "premiere" of my newest video! YouTube has many features, and I'm trying all of them. The premiere will start at 6pm EDT and will be a chance to see brand new content as it is being released. There will be a live chat that I'm sure will be buzzing with conversation, even if it's just me talking to myself. 🙃

Join me, ask me stuff, watch me change out the shocks on my truck, and help me figure out if this could be a pretty cool feature from YouTube!

I just wanted to post an update real quick and thank you all for you support of my channel! I'm getting quite a few comments letting me know the information I've been putting out there is helping people. Seeing these confirms for me that when I started out saying I just wanted to help people, it was totally the right call. I love to see that you guys are out there wrenchin' on your own stuff, learning as you go just like I am. Keep wrenchin' guys! 🛠️

I really can't believe I finally reached 1K subs! Yes, this means my channel is now "monetized" in the sense that I finally get a few pennies from the YouTube dollars across my channel. This is by no means going to allow me to quit my job, but it will allow me to fund my content to keep making it better. My next goal is to save to get a better camera (my phone is good, but not great) and I'd also like to start getting some parts that are "wants" rather than "needs". The first one is coming soon, and (spoiler alert) it's for the truck.

I can't thank you all enough for following along with me. I set out a little over a year ago to see if I could build a channel worth investing my time into, and you guys have shown me that it is worth a continued investment. I frequently get positive comments from people who have found value in my content, and that's really the "WHY" behind my decision to try this in the first place.

So, here's to the next year being just as fruitful, and hopefully I can start doing some FUN projects. There's still a lot to do on the truck, I've started getting more requests for work on other people's cars that I'll be doing, and I'm really trying to get outside the box and try some things that challenge my skills.

Thanks again for sitting shotgun with me on this road trip so far, and here's to a fruitful 2025 for all of us!

Appreciate your support,
Ben 🛠️
