Diagnostics And Beyond

I had a near death experience a little over a decade ago, got operated on with inadequate medical equipments. Fortunately, I survived but realised a real gap in healthcare. Shortly after, I started Flokefama, Ghana's number 1 healthcare company. For me, this isn’t just a business; it’s about making healthcare more accessible, transparent, and truly helpful to the people who need it most.

In 2025, I decided to launch DAB – Diagnostics and Beyond. A podcast that brings real, honest conversations about health to everyone. I’ll be sitting down with top doctors, experts, and innovators, breaking down complex medical topics in a way that makes sense. No jargon, no complicated talk—just real stories, expert advice, and practical insights that you can actually use.

If you care about your health or just want to understand the world of medicine better, this is for you. Let’s talk, learn, and grow together.

Diagnostics And Beyond

In 2020, I lay in an isolated hospital room—scared, breathless, and convinced it was the end. I was battling COVID-19… alone. No family visits, no hugs—just the haunting sound of uncertainty.

But on the other side of that national crisis was Dr. Christian Owoo—a man who stood at the helm of Ghana’s ICU response when ventilators were few and time was fleeting. He led the heroes who saved lives, including mine.

With COVID cases on the rise again, this new DAB episode is not just a conversation. It’s a call to remember, reflect, and ask: Are we prepared for another pandemic?

Diagnostics And Beyond

Happy Father’s Day to every man learning to carry strength differently.

I grew up in a home of 5 boys. Crying? That was weakness. If something went wrong and you showed emotion, it meant you were guilty.

But sitting across from Mr. Edwin Boachie-Yiadom in this episode shifted something in me.
He said: “Sometimes if you don’t let the emotions out early, you explode at the wrong moment.”

As men, we’re told to hold it all in.
But maybe real strength is in knowing when to speak… when to breathe… and when to cry.

This Father’s Day, I want to honor all the men doing the work — breaking old cycles, becoming safer fathers, partners, and friends. You’re not alone.
