It feels unreal to even write this, but as your retirement approaches, I just want to say thank you from the deepest part of my heart for everything you’ve given to the world, and especially to kids like me who grew up looking at you not just as a wrestler, but as a hero.

You were the first person who taught me that strength doesn’t only come from muscles it comes from heart, discipline, and staying true to who you are. I watched you rise, get knocked down, get back up again, and keep fighting as if quitting was never an option. And honestly, that shaped me more than you’ll ever know. Whenever life got heavy, whenever I felt small or defeated, your words and your example reminded me that “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect” wasn’t just a slogan…it was a way to live.

You were more than a champion in the ring. You were a champion to millions outside of it.
Your message of never giving up pushed me during moments when I wanted to. Your kindness, your humor, your hard work, and your willingness to give so much of yourself especially to fans made you more than an entertainer. You became a symbol of hope. A reminder that good people still exist. A reminder that heroes don’t need superpowers they just need heart.

Watching you over the years, from the chain gang soldier to the face of the WWE, to the mentor of the new generation, to the man stepping away with grace and gratitude…I realized that true greatness isn’t measured in title reigns, matches, or records. It’s measured in the impact you leave behind. And John, your impact is massive. You didn’t just build moments you built memories that shaped childhoods. You created inspiration that carried people through their toughest days. You made millions of fans feel seen, valued, and stronger.

And now, as you step into retirement, I’m not sad because you’re leaving wrestling; I’m grateful because you gave us more than we ever deserved. You gave us dedication. You gave us love. You gave us a hero to believe in.

Thank you for every promo that fired us up.
Thank you for every match where you pushed your limits.
Thank you for the times you made us laugh, cry, scream, and cheer.
Thank you for being the childhood hero that stayed true even when the world changed.

Even though Dec 13, 2025 marks the end of your in-ring journey, it’s not the end of what you represent. Your legacy will echo far beyond the ring, in every kid who grew up shouting “You Can’t See Me,” in every adult you inspired to keep pushing, and in every person whose life you touched sometimes without even knowing it.

You may be retiring from WWE, but you’ll never retire from our hearts. You’ll always be my hero, my inspiration, and the reason I learned to never, ever give up.
