Hi! My name is Callum, aka wanderloots✨ Welcome to my Channel

I am a photographer, artist, and educator specializing in Astro, wildlife, mindfulness, emerging technologies, and intellectual property 📖

As an intellectual property lawyer & patent agent, I am fascinated at the exploration of knowledge and the use of tools (including AI) to help augment our knowledge systems. Note: none of my videos or information is to be considered legal, patent, or financial advice.

This channel contains a mix of my art (timelapses and mindfully calming videos) and my how-to tutorials on note-taking (Obsidian), blockchain/web3 (Manifold), and AI (NotebookLM & Adobe Firefly).

I also write about these topics in my newsletter: Recalibrating 🧭 paragraph.xyz/@wanderloots.eth?referrer=wanderloot…
I hope you enjoy!

How do you read books? 📚 I’ve been thinking about my own reading & note-taking lately so I’m curious to hear what your process is.

Feel free to add comments beneath the poll:

Do you read physical books, e-reader, audio books?

Do you take notes, or just internalize what you’re reading?

Do you highlight quotes or write them out?

Let me know ⬇️

✨ New Video 📝 NotebookLM just got WAY smarter, and it's all due to a hidden update that improved the way NotebookLM works with your sources & chats, aka "context". This video walks through not only what the new updates are, but also WHY they matter, and how they make this great tool even better.

Please let me know what you think in the comments of the video, as that helps give me a boost and I appreciate hearing your thoughts & questions 😊

I hope this helps you take your apps to the next level, with some key tips on costs & security to keep in mind as you do.

Please let me know in the comments of the video if you have any questions or if there is anything else you would like to see. Any sharing, hyping, and commenting really gives my videos a boost, so I appreciate it a lot 🫡

New Video ✨ After many, many requests for a Google AI Studio Deploy Tutorial, here it is!

In this video, I give a complete, step by step tutorial on how to deploy apps from Google AI Studio. You can deploy apps in two ways: Google Cloud Run or through GitHub (using something like Vercel).

I also share some tips on code versioning, adding more complicated features (safely), & general advice on how you can get your app live so you can use it yourself and share with others.

If you find it helpful or have any questions, please let me know in the comments of the video, as that helps give me a boost 😊

I could use your help 👀 By very popular request, I'm working on the second part of this video: how to deploy apps from Google AI Studio.

To help me make the most helpful video possible, can you please let me know what you would like to see in the deployment video? Please leave suggestions & questions ON THE VIDEO itself, as I will go through all of the comments on the video to help structure the next video.

Thanks so much for your support on this AI coding (vibe coding) series, as it's been a passion of mine for months, and I have a lot more to show you ✨

New Video ✨ An Intro To AI Coding With Google AI Studio 💡 (Beginner friendly)
Google AI Studio has made it even easier to prototype your ideas into working apps, effortlessly. I basically spent my whole summer learning how to code with AI and I've built ~ 10 apps for myself, including some I'll be releasing soon 👀

You can even connect to GitHub for versioning, deploy your app with Google Cloud Run to share with others, and generally work out the bugs in your app until you have something actually usable to solve your real world problems.

I hope this helps you get started! Please let me know if you have any questions in the comments of the video, as that helps give me a boost 🫡

Just curious, are you interested in Travel or Astrophotography? ✨ To help keep myself organized on YouTube, I've started a separate channel for travels with my fiancee, Taylor. No pressure in the slightest, but we're just starting that channel and would love to hear what you think/any support is appreciated ✨

The Dolomites are one of my favourite places in the world, in part because of the incredible mountains, but also because of the dark skies where I could shoot astrophotography (one of my greatest passions in life).

This trip was one that eventually led to me quitting my job and pursuing a full-time career as a creator, so I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my journey 🏔️

Hi everyone ✨ Just wanted to say thanks for those who support me on my channel, especially when I put out videos on new tools like ChatLLM. When people watch these new videos/tools, it helps me continue to afford to be able to make videos on the core tools that likely brought you here in the first place, so thank you 😊

If you haven't watched this one, please consider checking it out, as it gives me a boost and might introduce you to new AI workflows you haven't thought of yet ✨
