Renovation by Michael
My name is Michael. I am currently renovating a house (perhaps the cheapest in France 2025) and will be uploading videos on a regular basis to show the progress. I have built houses in France for myself and when I worked for a French building firm in Normandy. I have renovated houses and apartments both here in France and in the UK.
This one is different in the fact I have a minimal amount of money left to finance the renovation after my ex-wife took me to the cleaners when she divorced me in 2021. So I'll be doing 99% of the work myself and looking for every bargain available when sourcing materials etc.
I hope you'll join me on the adventure and leave comments and advice as you see fit.

Back in the land of the living. Not 100% but much better than Wednesday, Thursday.
Nothing done here since Wednesday afternoon and heading back to Paris now I am fit enough to drive.

Following on from the video explaining the proposed sale of my neighbours barn/garage.
House price by Square Metre in the area is 330 euros, thus if we use the same equation, the barn should be valued at 8400 euros and the land non constructable of around 2500 metres Square valued at 2500 euros.
At his valuation the barn is 681 euros per square metre. More than double and without any services.....
