It is deeply disappointing to see a serious health awareness event treated as a glamorous excuse to party and drink Breast cancer is not an aesthetic nor is it a VIP social hour it is a grueling battle that millions of women and their families fight every single day While you were busy turning a night meant for fundraising and medical advocacy into your own personal nightclub real survivors were left wondering if your platform exists for anything beyond self promotion Using a devastating disease as a prop for your public image isn't just profoundly out of touch it is a profound insult to those who actually endure the physical and emotional toll of this illness Perhaps next time before popping champagne for the cameras you should take a moment to educate yourself on what this cause actually represents rather than reducing a life or death fight into a hollow photo op. I find it genuinely baffling how some of you will bend over backward to defend toxic tone deaf behavior just because your favorite celebrity is involved A breast cancer awareness event is meant to honor survivors raise crucial funds and show respect for those fighting for their lives not an excuse for celebrities to treat it like an exclusive nightclub VIP room Mocking the gravity of such a cause and using the label of (charity) as a marketing gimmick to look glamorous is completely disrespectful Alcohol is scientifically known to increase breast cancer risk making it utterly out of touch to be casually downing drinks at an event designed to fight the disease When people rightfully call out this blatant hypocrisy resorting to childish abuse and shouting them down just proves you care more about protecting a celebritys ego than about the actual cause Blindly worshipping a famous face doesn't make you a loyal fan it makes you an enabler Instead of throwing temper tantrums in the comments and acting like their PR team you should hold them to the same standards of basic decency and social responsibility that you would expect from anyone else If a star and their defenders cannot separate glitz from a life threatening illness they shouldn't be attaching their names to charity campaigns in the first place
