I always thought I’d be lowkey and chill about sitting in business class for the first time, but I decided I’m gonna be so cringe about it because this is something to be proud of! I’m celebrating this one.
And so can you if you really want to. Travel hacking with points made it possible.
I stayed at one of London's most unique boutique hotels, Great Scotland Yard Hotel, and I share how I booked two nights here without paying a dime. Instead, I used only Chase Ultimate Rewards points!
Weekend trips from the Big Apple don’t have to be complicated. In less than two hours, you can swap the city streets for Chicago’s food, architecture, and iconic sights.
For my first time visiting, I wanted to photograph Chicagohenge, the phenomenon when the sun aligns with the city grid.
Spotted at Grand Central: a modern Gossip Girl moment.
Inspired by the pilot episode of the original Gossip Girl, I set out to recreate the iconic opening scene inside New York City’s Grand Central Terminal, with a photographer’s twist.
Ruidoso, New Mexico, is a mountain village of only eight thousand people, tucked in the Sierra Blanca range, and it just might be one of the best small towns in the country.
Unfortunately, Ruidoso has been through some tough years...
Flash floods and fires scarred the land, and this summer, the racetrack, one of the town’s economic lifeline, had to shut its season down early.
You’d think that would drain the energy. Instead, what I found was resilience.
There’s a big misconception between slow motion and slow shutter effect, especially in video. That was evident when I posted a comparison between the two.
If you’ve ever confused slow shutter with slow motion, you’re not alone. In this video, I break down the differences and how to capture them.
New York City's Fourth of July Fireworks popped off with the Macy's 49th annual extravaganza.
This year, the show featured 80,000 shells, significantly more than the 60,000 shells from last year, which fired high over the Brooklyn Bridge and East River.

Finally got to meet a real Scottish Highland Cow!
Scotland is only a six-hour flight away, and what's better than 24 hours is 48 hours for the perfect weekend trip.
It’s just far enough to feel like you’ve gone somewhere completely different, but close enough for a spontaneous escape.
In this video, I document my travels over 3 days exploring Glasgow, Edinburgh, and the Scottish Highlands, only using public transportation.
This video is for you if you're a New Yorker (or East Coaster) looking for a weekend escape to explore Scotland, but don't want to rent a car.

Is it worth the 4:30 am wake-up call to reverse commute to New Jersey for a sunrise shot?
I woke up before the rest of the city to photograph the sunrise perfectly behind the Empire State Building.
