Lenny already left work by the time we went to pick up my Spyder this afternoon. Thank you to Tyler and staff for all you did for us to get us back on the road. We appreciate you all so very much! Hope to see you again...just to visit though...no Spyder repairs, lol 🤗💜🙏🏼😁

Woo hoo! 🎉🥳🎊Please welcome Karen to the Can Am Family! TommyG and I met her and her hubby, Gordon in Maggie Valley and their friend, John, last fall. At that time Karen was riding two up with Gordon and having a lot of fun on their Can Am Canyon. We kept in touch after the rally and Karen shared that she wanted her own....SO....she bought this Ryker and just last weekend received her 3 wheel endorsement in Tennessee after taking the Basic Rider Class. WAY TO GO, KAREN!! Congratulations!! Wishing you and Gordon and John many, many miles of smiles on your Can-Ams! 💜🙏🏼🎊🎉🤗

Thank you so much Lenny, Ike, Tyler, Monika and Tristan at RideNow Power Sports in Charlotte, NC, for fixing my Spyder and getting us back on the road. I appreciate how BRP acted so quickly with this "warranty" issue. Ike is the service manager and Lenny is the master mechanic...I gave him a BIG hug! Lenny put on a new sprocket and bolt...this is a pic of the old one. I am due back in a week for a new output shaft and another new sprocket and hopefully that will be a permanent fix! Made it to our destination in Florida yesterday...540 miles...it was a good long ride on my favorite highway...I 95, lol.

Well, it's been an eventful few days! Left western PA on Monday. It was very cold and for some reason my 2023 F3L did not want to start (it lives in a heated garage on a tender all winter and I've already had it out once)...TommyG added some magic potion and she started up but dang it was cold out...it snowed Monday morning at our house. We waited until it hit 40 degrees before heading out to Gettysburg. I had an appointment Tuesday morning for a new rear tire (mine had about 9,000 miles on it and needed to be replaced). It was cold riding and I was wearing different gloves...I could not feel the heat from my grips so I kept turning them up...apparently way too hot because at dinner Monday night I realized my hand was burned and I had a BIG blister...it's getting better. Tuesday morning, we met up with Judy and Mike at Motorsports of Hanover (PA) and they treated us to coffee and donuts...great to catch up with them! Then we headed south as our destination is Florida. At a gas stop in Virginia, I chatted with Jacob at a Sheetz...very nice young man interested in the Can Am Spyder due to knee issues. While riding on I 485 outside Charlotte, I hit the throttle to accelerate to pass and guess what??? Terrible GRINDING sound and no acceleration! I had to cross 4 lanes of traffic and by the time we got to the exit a mile away, my speed was down to 45 mph ( I had on my 4 ways). We pulled into a housing development right off the exit and TommyG had to push my Spyder in neutral to get over the sidewalk and out of the way. BRP Roadside assistance sent a tow truck and wonderful driver, Fahid, from Triple F Towing. While we waited for Fahid, we met a lovely young gal, Milly and her son, as we were parked beside Milly's house. She would love to get her 3 wheel endorsement! She is so sweet...thank you Milly for chatting with us!! Then, I got to ride in the tow truck with Fahid to Ride Now Powersports where we arrived after hours, but staff stayed to check us in. Problem diagnosed this morning...want to know what happened??? Front sprocket quit working and needs replaced! I thought BRP had dealt with this issue by making it stronger on the newer models! ( I had to have that replaced on my 2018 three times). And the output drive shaft could possibly be damaged. So we are in limbo until tomorrow...TommyG rode off on his Harley today to another dealership in the Charlotte, NC area to get parts. Can you imagine...a Harley to the rescue??? Stay tuned for how things turn out! 🙏🏼💜🙏🏼
