Where have I been???

It's been so long since I posted on here and I've noticed more of you guys finding me on other platforms so I thought I'd do an update. It all began when I posted this video youtube.com/video/-fZFCxK-US4/edit

I really didn't expect such a huge response from styling one of my Tiktok followers but as soon as that video went live I was booked into 2026 within a few days. The day after I uploaded it I was contacted by Caroline Vreeland to style her for Milan and Paris fashion weeks and suddenly it's September and I am locked into that (I cannot WAIT for you to see some of these looks!) I also styled her for her Miami Swim Icons performance back in May - images below including our very glamorous facetime fitting.

Before posting that video I had just increased my sons childcare hours, which is why I had time to make so many YouTube videos such as the style analysis content that most of you found me through. Once I got all of these personal styling bookings they completely absorbed the time that I was dedicating to YouTube.

So, when will I come back to Youtube? I will be vlogging the whole experience of working with Caroline this season so that video will be out in October. Once fashion month cools down hopefully I will get back into some sort of posting schedule. In terms of style analysis, I have had some interest elsewhere for this content which is why I paused it - even on Tiktok where the series started. Once I have clarity I will get started on making those videos again, hopefully soon. All positive things I promise.

Until then, there are so many videos on my account that predate my style analysis videos. I have interviewed some really iconic people in the fashion industry and I bet you didn't even know they were sitting right there in 'the fashion nap podcast' playlist!

In light of the heaviness in the world, I thought the next episode to spotlight should be an interview I did with people truly making a difference through fashion: the creatives of 3eib. https://youtu.be/AMZT02Ugt2Y?si=DXg35...

I sat down with 3eib founder, Dania, who started 3eib as a way to showcase designers and artists from the SWANA region. Being Palestinian herself, Dania explained how the events of the past year steered the way she works. She is so kind and eloquent and I felt so lucky to be welcomed into the space of the collective.

I also got to chat to some of the incredible designers selling their works (and of course did some shopping!)

Hey! I noticed some new faces around here so I thought it re-introduce myself 💕 my name is Chani, I’m a content creator who focuses on all the parts of fashion that I like: supermodels, 90s glamour, designer stories, antiquated fashion beef and more. This all usually happens on my tiktok @thefashionnap ✨

I started YouTube to post my podcast series also called the fashion nap where I interview people working in all areas of the fashion industry.

I started a series analysing people’s style on TikTok and it did well, so I decided post longer versions of those videos over here and that’s probably how YOU found me this week! If you’re new welcome, I recommend checking out some of the podcast episodes while you’re here. I’ve had guests including Connie Girl, Priya Ahluwalia, Fashion Roadman, Princess Julia, Lauren Ezersky, Ari of Advanced Style and MANY more (23 episodes to be exact!)

I will be shooting new interviews over the next month and once the next series is ready to come out I will post one podcast every Monday and a style analysis video every Thursday. Until then I will be spamming you with style analysis as there are so many existing videos from my TikTok ready to be expanded!
