Happy 1 year of our friendship 🥹💗

I genuinely can’t believe it’s already been a whole year since we met 😭 It honestly feels like time went by so fast. Even though we met online, you’ve become such an important person to me and I’m so grateful that I found you 🥹

In this past year, we’ve had so many conversations, random moments, laughs, inside jokes and memories that I’ll always keep with me. It’s crazy how someone you met through a screen can become such a special person in your life 😭💗

A message to some of you.

Some of you are genuinely being so embarrassing right now.

I understand being disappointed. I understand feeling uncomfortable with RM and j-hope attending a concert involving Chris Brown. You are allowed to have your own opinion, and you are allowed to criticize their decision. Nobody is taking that away from you.

But some of you are acting like RM and j-hope are not human beings anymore.

They are artists, yes, but they are also PEOPLE. They have lives outside of BTS. They have free time. They are allowed to go to concerts, listen to music, have fun, spend time with friends and enjoy themselves.

Being a fan does NOT mean you own them or get to control every single thing they do.

And before anyone misunderstands me: saying “they are human” does not mean “everything they do is okay.” You can disagree with their decision. You can say that you personally wouldn’t have gone. You can choose not to support Chris Brown yourself. That’s completely valid.

But some of you have gone WAY too far.

Boycotting to the point where you’re literally saying you want BTS to disband? Seriously, wake up.

Please realize how far this has gone. You can criticize them. You can be disappointed. You can hold them accountable for things you believe were wrong. But wishing for the entire group to disappear because of one situation is completely different.

You don’t have to defend everything BTS does. You should be able to say, “I don’t agree with this,” without suddenly turning everything into a war.

And you also don’t have to agree with other fans. But attacking RM and j-hope, insulting them, demanding BTS disband, or treating them like they’re not human anymore isn’t going to magically solve anything.

You can hold someone accountable without completely dehumanizing them.

You can be disappointed without being cruel.

You can disagree without harassing them.

And you can still be a fan while saying, “I don’t agree with this.”

Please stop acting like every situation needs to become “BTS are perfect” versus “BTS are terrible people.” Real life isn’t that black and white.

RM and j-hope are human beings before they’re idols. They are allowed to have lives outside of BTS. They are allowed to make choices. They can make mistakes. They can learn. And we don’t know everything that happens behind the scenes.

So please… WAKE UP.

If you genuinely don’t support what happened, that’s your right. But wishing for BTS to disband and taking things this far is not “holding them accountable” anymore.

At the end of the day, they’re human beings before they’re idols.

Let them breathe.

And if you personally don’t agree with their decision, that’s okay. Just express your opinion respectfully instead of turning the entire fandom against them.

Being a fan should never mean losing your ability to think for yourself — but it also shouldn’t mean losing your empathy either.
