🚨 His Eminence, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān, has assigned a number of senior scholars and members of the Council of Senior Scholars to issue fatwas in different regions of the Kingdom.
This comes in continuation of the Royal Decree restricting the issuing of fatwas to members of the Council of Senior Scholars only.

The assigned scholars are as follows:

1_Shaykh Dr. Yūsuf ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Saʿīd
Assigned to the Presidency branches in Tabuk and al-Jawf regions.

2_Shaykh Dr. Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Mukhtār ibn Muḥammad Mazīd Al Shamqeeti
Assigned to the Presidency branch in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah.

3_Shaykh Dr. Jibrīl ibn Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan al-Buṣaylī
Assigned to the Presidency branches in ʿAsīr and Jāzān regions.

4_Shaykh Dr. Ghālib ibn Muḥammad ibn Abū al-Qāsim Ḥāmidhī
Assigned to the Presidency branches in al-Bāḥah and Najrān regions.

5_Shaykh Dr. Sāmī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Ṣuqayr
Assigned to the Presidency branches in al-Qaṣīm and Ḥāʾil regions.

6_Shaykh Dr. Bandar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Sirāj Bilaylah
Assigned to the Presidency branch in Makkah al-Mukarramah.

7_Shaykh Dr. ʿAbd al-Ilāh ibn Muḥammad al-Mullā Al Ḥanafī
Assigned to the Presidency branches in the Eastern Province and the Northern Borders.

This step reinforces the Kingdom’s commitment to regulating religious verdicts, ensuring that fatwas are issued only by qualified senior scholars, in accordance with the official religious framework of Saudi Arabia.
