The only people who are angry or terrified at the thought of being judged as a Christian by their fruit are those who have no fruit. That is the simple truth of the matter. And people whose entire existence and ministry consists of damning and mocking and correcting the ministry of others have no actual ministry of their own. There is no fruit to grow because there is no seed being planted. A person who spends their life walking up and down the garden of others, and judging how others are planting seed, are people who do not take the time to plant a garden of their own. These people make a mockery of Christ. Empty. Clouds without rain. My friend, we are called to minister TO people, not against people. You love people, you give them the gospel, you let them see the truth of Christ and the fruit of the Spirit in you, and you let God sort the tares from the wheat. You cannot perform your job if you’re too busy trying to perform God‘s job.

When you read a book, the author of that book is not obligated or expected to provide you some manner in which you can argue with him in person about the thoughts in that book, or give the entire world
your opinion on what is written in that book. And you are not foolish enough to scream and cry about how your right to free speech has been violated. When you find a DVD of a sermon or a teaching, and you watch it, you are not provided a means to argue with the speaker on that DVD or a means to share your personal opinion with the world about what is contained on that DVD. Nor are you intellectually, dishonest nor emotionally immature enough to throw that DVD or that book in the fire and refuse to watch it because you have been denied “free speech”. What is the difference on here? If you are so mentally shallow or emotionally immature that you will unsubscribe from any channel and walk away because you have not been provided the means to argue with the author against what is in that video and to put in your two cents, all in the name of “free speech”, you really should do a deep soul search on yourself. You have some major problems.

May I gently, respectfully and cheerfully address a talking point currently going on in the comments on this channel? A fireman does not show up at your house when there is no fire, knock on the door and give you a thumbs up and tell you that there is no fire. It is not a fireman‘s job to go round drumming up any positivity when there’s not a problem. A fireman‘s job is to put out fires. The only time you’ll see a fireman working is if there is a fire or a wreck or a disaster. There is a misconception today that is a preacher’s job to be equally positive and negative. That is not scripture. There are certain preachers who are called to be fireman. Their job is to point out fires. Their job is not to go around giving kudos and high-fives just to have something to do and something to say when everything is positive and good. It is to warn that the bridge is out ahead. Do not confuse a preacher with a cheerleader. I am not your cheerleader. I am a teacher and a spiritual fireman. That’s my job, and that’s what I do.

There was no Protestant organization on the planet that sat down and signed a Concorde (agreement) with Adolf Hitler. No Protestant organization on the planet funded Adolf Hitler and the third reich during World War II in return for a signed agreement that if Hitler won in this war, he would make their religion by law the state religion.

If you truly want to know the truth, you’re gonna have to have the guts to look at the hard things. Not many people today have the guts to look at the hard things. The unpopular things. The things that go against the grain.

To those of you who are using the very, very poor argument that Satan believes in Jesus Christ and he’s not born again, you are not even thinking or paying any attention to scripture. Salvation is by faith. Hebrews tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God. It is impossible for Satan to have faith because he already knows everything, he already knows the truth, he was casted out of heaven where he knew gone personally, he was there at the crucifixion, he witnessed the resurrection. With Satan, there is no faith involved. Where there is no faith, there is no salvation.

I had to delete the video that I uploaded this morning about Moses, being old and broken before he was finally usable. The problem is that I accidentally uploaded it first to the Dry Creek channel. Once I realize my mistake, I uploaded it to the tack room Bible talk. Then I was notified that YouTube does not allow this, it is considered duplicate content. I decided to leave the video up that I first posted because it had already gotten much more traffic. This is the sort of thing that we expect when you put an old guy like me in charge of technology. Please accept my apology for any confusion, it was unintended.

The unfortunate situation with Allan Harrelson and the Pipe Cottage has been resolved to my great relief. It was done in a manner that was correct, honorable and most manly. I humbly wish for everyone to graciously drop the whole thing and move on, as would glorify Christ and all He wishes us to be.
