Low-key I Might Not Think Zhu Jin is The Weakest Tensen.
Zhu Jin VS Gabimaru
When Zhu Jin fight Gabimaru he did bring Gabimaru into a mental death amp state, and managed to land blows and overpowered Zhu Jin without any help, and push Zhu Jin into his Kishikai transformation.
And with this form, Gabimaru wouldn’t have made it out alive It wasn’t for Mei interfering and saving him.
this Gabimaru doesn’t know anything about Tao in this fight, but in the series before understanding what Tao is, Gabimaru it’s already regarded to be one of the strongest characters before meeting the Tensens and other Asaemon before arriving to the island.
And if Zhu Jin managed to push Gabimaru to near death just to get an upper hand is honestly a good feat and it makes Zhu Jin not look as weak compared to the other Tensens, since he was already fighting someone that was already well known to be one of the strongest.
Ran VS Gabimaru & Yuzuriha
Rans Tao attribute is water as well, and managed to able compete with Gabimaru, at this point Gabimaru is now able to understand Tao and how to counter Ran water attribute.
In the series the water attribute of Tao does counter the fire attribute of Tao, Gabimaru Tao attribute is fire, but he was still able to compete and land blows on Ran with mastery of Tao in a short period of time, and managed to defeat Ran in his base form, along with the help of Yuzuriha thanks to her Tao attribute of earth which can counter Ran water attribute.
With all that Ran was forced into his Kishikai transformation to try and defeat them.
I don’t think Zhu Jin is the weakest of the Tensens , especially since there’s more to what happens within the manga that I don’t wanna spoil. But from what shown and comparable feats with Gabimaru and Ran I think Zhu Jin definitely stands out within the Tensens and is not weak.
not saying Zhu Jin > Ran, I Think Ran with his combat capabilities, his reshaping abilities, and his Kishikai transformation does put him over Zhu Jin, but I think that’s up to debate, and a discussion for another day.
This series is so fun to analyze, and a breath of fresh air then JJK and Demon Slayer, again You guys need to watch or read Hell’s Paradise😭
there’s definitely some discussion for one of these guys, since they’ve all have been around for 1000 years, mastering their Tao, and combat capabilities, there is proof on who is way stronger, like Rein and Ran, but if you look over the story, I think there should be an obvious answer on who is the weakest.
I’d love to see more people discussing Hell’s Paradise. The story is really great, the characters are fun and memorable, and the power system is very well done. The power scaling within the verse also leaves room for some interesting debates, especially when it comes to the Tensen, the Criminals, and the Asaemon.
