I'm an Australian landscape photographer based on the beautiful Gold Coast. I'm so lucky to have many diverse and wonderful environments not far away: from bush to beaches, rainforests to waterfalls.
It's my quest to share the beauty I find in the natural world, whatever the conditions. We can't all travel to every inch of the globe, but at least I can bring the inches I traverse to people who would otherwise never get to experience them. And not every day is going to bring epic conditions, but that doesn't mean there aren't images to be made and experiences to be enjoyed.
So come along on my journeys to experience the successes and the failures; the amazing weather and the dull; the epic and the intimate.
And if you're wondering why the music in my videos fits so well it's because it's all lovingly made by my talented partner Danny Lapthorne.

I came across Lunersee months before we headed to the Alps, and from the moment I saw it, it was the one place I absolutely knew we MUST visit on the trip. I carefully picked the day based on the weather, and we absolutely nailed it! This place beggars belief, and was so cool to experience. I also took Danny on a trek up to viewpoint at the top of a ridge which didn't quite turn out as I'd hoped...it was still pretty darn awesome though!

If you missed this one I highly recommend grabbing a tasty beverage and sitting back to enjoy it because it's one of the best adventures Danny and I have ever been on. There's streams to cross, funny moments, absolutely epic scenery (like, really epic), silly 80s reminiscing, and a bit more swearing than usual. In short, this video is the closest you can get to actually coming on an adventure with Danny and Me. I know it's a long one, but I promise, it's worth it!

I was drawn to the channel leading through the rocks. In this spot waves can also come from behind, which gets very messy, so need to time it when there's a forward wave but none from the back.

My first sunrise for a long time wasn't spectacular but it was still well-timed as it was about 10 degrees warmer than the next morning! Very good timing with the surfer contemplating the ocean.

I couldn't get enough of this stunning alpine view, with the complimentary cool tones of the river and trees, and the clouded mountains in the background. I actually felt like I'd been transported to the Canadian Rockies instead of the Alps. This is one of those times when a great scene unexpectedly falls in your lap.
