Well I rescued a pitbull pup off the side of the road on Friday March 30th who had been dumped at a park. He sat there waiting for his owners to come back and wouldn't leave. As soon as I saw this post on Facebook I knew I couldn't leave him. He was scanned for a microchip and of course did not have one. He is so skinny and under weight. He was given his rabies vaccine, has a double ear infection, was given Simparica Trio, and he is on a meal plan of 4 meals a day until he gains his weight back. He has a long road to recovery and many more vet visits but we are not giving up on this boy! We have started a Go Fund Me up for help paying his medical bills. I will post a video of him soon. Right now we are just worried about him adjusting in a healthy manner. The kids and dogs have done a great job of bonding with him! I feed my guinea pigs fresh veggies and fruit every morning! They also love alfalfa cubes, Sun Salad, the mini pops, pellets, natural apple sticks, the little heart treats and of course hay! Some of their favorite fresh fruits and veggies are dandelion greens, kale, romaine, banana peels more then the banana, apples, strawberries, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and celery! Now of course some of these have to be given in moderation and are not safe for them to eat every single day as too much of a good thing can be a bad thing for them! Also I am aware Olives cage looks small in this picture but I promise it's the angle and is bigger in person! Rude comments are not tolerated so please be nice.
