This channel focuses on fixing, repairing, restoring and upgrading components of your personal classic car providing “how to” advice for the average guy with limited knowledge, experience and budget.
Follow along and learn from my 35 years of personal experience I’ve acquired wrenching on my own project cars through the years. I’ve made lots of mistakes over those years and continue to experience new problems I’ve never seen before. See and learn how I overcome these challenges and find solutions without breaking the bank.
If you like 60's and 70's Mopars and / or you own a Mopar from that era this is the place for you. Keep in mind although the cars I work on are Mopars these actions and activities are applicable to all classic cars and what you learn here in most cases can be applied to any make and model.
Join me and live and breath the classic car lifestyle as I see and live it. I hope I’m able to earn your subscription and I hope you enjoy the videos.

My buddy Barry at No Bolts Left Behind is kicking ass with this 55 Ford F100. If you don’t know the truck was my Dads. My Dad bought it a long time ago and it’s been sitting for many years. My Dad passed away March 2025. And Barry bought it from our family and is doing a fantastic job bringing this old truck back to life with some modern parts. It’s good to see suck a cool truck get saved like this.

Attention!!! The Jonny Mopar channel is now open to viewer community posts.
So I know this is working properly please post a picture of your ride here.
Also, I get lots of questions from viewers about issues they’re experiencing. I always do my best to help but comments only go so far. Here we can all post pictures and we can all help. I have some of the best experienced and knowledgeable viewers on YouTube so if I don’t know the answer it’s very likely another viewer does.
Post away.

I thought we didn't have any pictures of this car. It was my Grandfathers 69 Kingsman wagon. It had a 350 in it and it road like a boat. Wish we still had it. Some Aussie came by in the 2000's and asked if my Dad wanted to sell any cars. He sold the wagon amongst some other cool cars way too cheap. I hope the car is living a good life down under if it still exists.

Woohoo! I got mentioned in the General Mayhem video. Great video and background of the 68 Charger we call General Mayhem. Check out the pictures I shared with Freiburger just before he traded me a set of heads for it back in the day. Jonny Mopar

I just wanted to say thank you to everybody for the positive vibes, prayers and support. I can definitely say it’s been helping. My Dad is not through the woods by any means but he’s been awake for a week now. He’s been moved to “Step Down” which is one step below ICU, in other words he’s doing better and doesn’t need to be watched so intensely. We’re just coping with it all one day at a time.
For those who have lost a loved one to Cancer I pray they are in heaven cruising the car they loved with other loved ones no longer with us. For those who have loved ones still fighting Cancer, you’re in my prayers for a cure, for strength and for peace.
On a somewhat happy note, I asked my Mom for the 8mm footage she had so I can convert it to digital the other day. The picture is a snap shot of me walking around 1975 or 76 in Sacramento California by my Dad’s 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, hard top (no vinyl top) 440, 4 speed Dana rear, 999 paint code (Reddish Orange).
I’ve posted before looking for it but had the wrong plate number. The few pictures I have do not show the plate so I was excited to see it in the video. Let me if you know if this car still exists. California plate ZVV 817, VIN XS29L8B438988. I hope it’s still out there.

The mechanical fuel pump started leaking on the wagon last weekend. My wife and I could smell the fuel as we were driving. After I parked it there was a huge puddle of gas under it. There’s no way it would have made it home. It’s a typical big block Carter pump and the leak is at the seam between the top and bottom halves.i think the same thing happened on Doorthy. I’m done with these fuel pumps.
Any mechanical recommendations? I want to switch to the Hemi style pump but want a good brand. Are the Edelbrocks any good? And does anyone know a part number for the fuel pump to carb hard line?
