At CPC, our mission is to develop life-long loving disciples for Jesus Christ. We exist to know God, love people, share Jesus, and transform lives.
Located outside the nation’s capital in historic Alexandria, Virginia, Community Praise Church of Seventh-day Adventists (CPC) has served the greater Washington, D.C. area since 1896.
We believe the Bible provides a clear blueprint for our congregation. Using Acts 2:42-47 as a guide, we devote our time, resources, and energy towards defining our purpose and supporting our mission to know God through worship, love people through fellowship, share Jesus through evangelism, and transform lives through discipleship.
