King of England Charles III was photographed with two U.S. presidents at the White House 56 years apart, and he was younger than both of them.
In 1970, Charles, then a Prince, was photographed with Richard Nixon on the balcony of the White House at age 22, significantly younger than the 57-year-old president. When he returned for a visit in 2026, Charles was photographed on the White House lawn at age 78 with Trump, who was born two years before him in 1946.
These clashes center on three issues: war and peace, life and family ethics, and migration. What sets the Trump–Leo conflict apart is its tone and visibility: direct criticism from both sides and a highly public, real-time confrontation.
Numerous lawmakers and organizations have called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked after Trump used expletive language when demanding that Iran open the Strait of Hormuz, and threatened that a "whole civilization will die" if they do not comply.
However, removing a president who is unwilling to declare themselves incapacitated is a complex process. Here's what Section 4 of the 25th Amendment says about the steps required to remove a sitting U.S. president from office.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s personal broker has been accused of attempting to invest millions in defense contractors in the weeks leading up to U.S. airstrikes on Iran, according to a Financial Times report.
Director of the National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent explained why he made the decision to resign over the war in Iran during a press conference Thursday.
Kent, an outspoken Trump supporter, stated that he made a "promise" to himself 20 years ago, when he was deployed as a soldier in Iraq, that he would "not in good conscience send young men and women off to die on foreign battlefields."
Kent said in a resignation letter posted to social media that "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation," adding, "It is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby."
He called upon Trump to "reflect on what we are doing in Iran, and who we are doing it for."
While speaking about Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell in the Oval Office Thursday, Trump said, "he's stubborn and he's got Trump derangement syndrome... it's not a curable disease."
"He should be lowering rates immediately. But he won't do that because he's a stubborn, incompetent person, and that's a bad thing," Trump said about Powell.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has once again trolled Trump, responding on social media after Trump accidentally called him the president of the United States while shaming Newsom for having a learning disability in the Oval Office Monday.
Trump told reporters that he did not think Newsom should be president because he has dyslexia, then stumbled over his words, stating, "The President of the United States, Gavin 'Newscum,' admitted that he has learning disabilities, dyslexia. Everything about him is dumb."
