You might have had a notification for the latest video '50th Worst Place in Britain'! 📹

This is the first of 50 videos in 50 days, but don't worry - each video is only about 2 minutes each.

I've had a few requests to do a final ranking of all places across Britain and there were three ways I could've done it;
- One really long video
- Two-Five medium-length videos
- Fifty short videos

The main reason I went for 50 short videos, posted daily, is because I know from my stats that so many people click on the videos and just skip to the end to see what was number 1. Well, you can't do that this time, you'll have to wait! muahhahahahahah *evil laugh*

Also, of course, this way I think more traffic will be driven to the channel which will help fund this channel for future endeavours.

On this channel there is;

*NO AI slop
*NO annoying sponsors in the middle of the videos
*NO Patreon nor Memberships nor other Paywalls
*NO constant begging to like, comment, share and subscribe
*I use all my own footage from places that I have taken myself (aside from the odd pic or gif which is always credited)

Before creating this YouTube channel I was a consumer of YouTube (especially in the pandemic) and I know how annoying the above things can be, that's why I want to keep it free of them as long as I can.

The only money I get is from ad revenue and from the very generous folk who have contributed to the channel over the years, THANK YOU, you know who you are 🙏

Big THANK YOU to all of my subscribers and those that watch regularly, especially the long-arse 2-hour vlog I posted the other day 🫣

ICYMI folks, I just posted my longest ever video! At almost 2 hours, I wouldn't blame you if you skipped it 😂

But for those who enjoy the travel vlogs and the hiking videos, you might enjoy it. Travelling across the stunning South West of England, hiking in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, eating questionable food and battling with bad weather and unreliable public transport, the video wraps up my six-month trip around Britain.

As for what's next, I've had lots of requests to rank off all of the worst places nationwide so will be doing that in a series of short videos. 50 videos in 50 days to be precise! Starting Sunday 22nd February!

Made it down to Land's End yesterday and am now finally en route to my native Kent (via a few stops in Somerset and Dorset) and my trip around this sceptered Isle will be over 🇬🇧

Almost six months, over 250 villages, towns and cities, and nearly 7,000 miles travelled on hundreds of buses and trains and nights under canvas or cheap hostels or hotels are coming to a close and boy, am I ready for a rest 🫠

I've learned more about my own country in six months than I had in 30+ years of living here. It's been exhausting, and not something I think I'll be repeating 😆 tons of footage to edit and then it'll be onto some new projects in 2026 🌍🌎🌏 Probably more documentary-style videos from across Europe to start with. If there's anything in particular you'd like to see, and won't wreck me financially, let me know in the comments 👇

Hello Everyone from Sunny Wolverhampton 🌞

Almost five months on the road now and the end is near. Just about thirty places left to visit 😮‍💨

After so many nights in crummy hotels/hostels/under canvas, I'm ready for a rest. Therefore, I'll be pausing the 'Worst Places' series for a few weeks. These videos take a whole day, sometimes more, to edit, and right now, I just want to get to the end of this journey. There's only so many Wetherspoon breakfasts and boarded up Bingo Halls a man can take 👴

However! I will be posting videos each week, just ones that are quicker and easier to edit. Like last night's video, probably the craziest one I've ever posted 🤪

Hello Everyone! Over 4 months on the road now and out of 250 places I've only got about 50 left! 🥳

The next region I'm heading to is West Midlands (region defined in the map attached). Not a region I know particularly well so suggestions of places to visit are welcome!

On the list so far are; Birmingham, West Bromwich, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Tipton, Dudley, Worcester, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Evesham and Stoke-on-Trent. Meaning I need eight more places!

If you know anywhere let me know! Especially if there's anywhere in Shropshire or Herefordshire!
