Having played on the CN server for the past week, we've seen nothing yet of how much Where Winds Meet will get in 2026. The current content feels like a tutorial compared to what's coming.
Quick note if you're taking part in the Firewords Festival this weekend. To complete the Red Note Claim Challenge, you need to CLAIM from the NEARBY Channel, NOT from World. NPC's will post red notes in the NEARBY Channel and everyone can claim them. No need to be first.

It looks like more of an expansion.
The “big” new weapon swap features feels like an improper replacement to the already satisfying stances(seriously why did they can those)
Map is about the same size. Side content, upgrades and gear functionality is like 2/3 of what was already first game.
Clues, bounties and charm upgrading do sound interesting, but not enough to warrant a whole game.
It leaves off the story to pick up the slack. Not sure a story of revenge can beat one of honor….
