I made this tutorial in May 2026 and somehow, it’s only coming to you in September 2026. Lol 😂

Story story…

I filmed several tutorials around the same period, including this particular one. But because I was really busy with people’s clothes then, I couldn’t edit most of them.

Later, when I finally wanted to film other important tutorials — especially requested tutorials — I needed more storage space, so I had to delete some of the older videos. Some of them were already trendy at the time I filmed them and had somehow gone out of trend by then. 😩

When I eventually had the time to edit this particular tutorial, I couldn’t find the pattern-drafting videos. So, naturally, I thought I had deleted them. I painstakingly left the sewing clips I could find and planned to edit those later as short videos.

But somehow, last night, while going through my gallery, I discovered that the pattern-drafting videos had been sitting right there in my phone all along. 😂

But then…

I realized it was another video that I had deleted. A whole video, cut into 3-minute clips, filmed, edited, voice-overed and saved!

But it’s okay. Things like this happen, right?

Anyway, here is the tutorial. Kindly watch and please linger while watching. 🙏 You’ll definitely learn a thing or two.

I saw your interest in the bodysuit I posted earlier, so I got to work. I’m now done with the pattern drafting and about to transfer the patterns to the fabric—that’s where I’m currently stuck.

This is a Lycra fabric, yeah? What you see in the images are the two sides of the fabric. One side is smooth, like most fabrics we know, while the other side isn’t as smooth (not exactly coarse, just slightly textured).

Please, which side would you advise I use as the right side of the fabric?
