Welcome to the 13th installment of our exciting new project ... to share a Christian message by making services available to everyone with a cell phone or a tablet.
Rev. Ceri’s message this week “Helter Skelter Hole in One” centers around the bible story where Jesus heals the lady … in the synagogue … on the Sabbath. You likely remember that he caught a LOT of criticism from the priests for working on the Sabbath and then, when questioned, Jesus embarrassed the priests with his rebuttal.
Rev Ceri identifies that a big part of the conflict between Jesus and the priests was a result of their differing opinions about what is right and what is wrong. I suspect I am not alone when I reveal that this is an issue with which I regularly struggle long and hard.
Rev Ceri goes on to ask some fundamental questions:
• Are we content to limit our behaviour to what we think we can do rather than opening ourselves to what we ought to do?
• Do the ends justify the means?
• What would be the loving thing to do?
• Who benefits? Who should benefit?
• If my action is loving, is there ever a wrong time?
Personally, I left the service last Sunday feeling challenged to “up my game” ... am I acting with Love?
So many of you are not able make it to us in person so we happily provide three digital versions available through the miracle of the internet:
• a full livestream to be viewed on Sunday mornings in real time as our service is actually happening. Email pcunited@bellnet.ca for access
• a complete video of the entire service stored on YouTube so that anyone can view it at any time. https://youtu.be/xCRinoLjOsU
• a shortened version with only the prayers, the messages, and our request for donations ... for those who are pressed for time. https://youtu.be/MiStULSGOio
We want to make our offering as convenient as possible so that even the busiest of us might be tempted to share in what we know to be a most wonderful approach to a life of happiness, Joy, and prosperity.
Be well

Announcing the 12th installment of our exciting new project ... to share a Christian message by making services available to everyone with a cell phone or a tablet.
Rev. Ceri’s message this week “Dying to the Seed” struck me at my core. In graphic detail he explored his personal observations of the moral contrasts in the country El Salvadore (the Saviour). He described in some detail how the general population struggles to rise against social injustice imposed by a few politically powerful families. Rev Ceri challenged me to live what I profess to believe … not always easy to do when I am put to the test … not easy but very important to be willing to die to the old so that the new may flourish … very important and very freeing. I know from personal experience what a Joy it can be to stand in my truth.
So many of you are not able make it to us in person so we happily provide three digital versions available through the miracle of the internet:
* a full livestream to be viewed on Sunday mornings and makes you part of the congregation
* a complete video of the entire service stored on YouTube can be viewed at your convenience.
https://youtu.be/_Zqi27c-oLY
* a shortened version for those who are pressed for time
https://youtu.be/qZKfYaTNvSc
The full livestream requires that you get a special link which is sent out before each service starts.
Email pcunited@bellnet.ca to be included on this special list.
We want to make our offering as convenient as possible. We hope that even the busiest of us might be tempted to share in what we know to be a most wonderful approach to a life of happiness, Joy, and prosperity.
Be well
