Last week, we experienced an incredible act of kindness that restored our faith in humanity.
My husband, in a hurried morning rush, accidentally left his phone on the roof of our car while picking up my daughter from Tennis Coaching. He didn’t realize this until he was almost home.
He expected to find the phone broken and scattered on the road or stolen. Panic set in as he retraced his steps, fearing the worst as he realized how much sensitive information was stored on the mobile device. Finally, he called the phone, hoping for a miracle. And, to his surprise, the call was answered!
A Swiggy delivery partner from Mogappair had found the phone on the road, 500 meters away from the tennis court. She waited for the owner to show up, but when she realized no one was coming, she wondered, what to do with the phone, whether to hand over the phone in the nearby shop or take it along with her. Finally, she decided to take the phone to her office.
When the phone rang, she promptly answered the call and informed my husband where & how she found the phone and where she was currently and asked him to come there to collect the phone. The day was turning out to be good again.
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to this kind-hearted stranger, Amsalekha. Her honesty and integrity are truly inspiring. In a world often filled with negativity, her actions serve as a beacon of hope.
This incident reminds us that even in the busiest of cities, acts of kindness can still flourish. Let’s celebrate such heartwarming stories and strive to be like Amsalekha, making a positive impact on the world.
