Tail Heavy Productions

Hey everyone! We have some updates we want to share regarding our content and the future of uploads for Tail Heavy Productions.

When it comes to the type of content you'll be seeing from us moving forward, Ben and I have decided to focus more on wacky "outside the box" projects/builds in addition to fun flying vlogs, and even more of our original educational style videos, too. We have decided to make aircraft reviews less of a priority because we are not as passionate about them and want to experiment with content we enjoy to keep things fresh for us. We want these all to be the best quality we can give our viewers, which leads us to our next update.

Starting this week, we are moving to uploading only when we have fresh content. There are a few reasons for this.

First - we want to ensure that the content we are putting out isn't forced and is something that we are passionate about, and we aren't uploading just to upload.

Second - we want to ensure that the new content fits our mold of educating, entertaining, and promoting flying RC planes in unconventional ways. In other words, our fly outside the box mentality. This means more of a healthy mix of what got us started; educational videos, vlogs, the occasional sprinkled in reviews/product overviews videos, and even our newer projects in the works, etc.

Third - Ben is starting school pursuing a college degree in graphic design. This means his free time is going to be more limited - so moving to uploading when we have time and content will allow more time for his studies and for us to produce videos for Tail Heavy we are proud of as well.

We are keeping up with our quarterly rotating merch - and the next drop will be on October 5th. Be sure to snag what you like from this quarter's collection - because once October 5th hits, you won't be able to buy them anymore.

Thank you all for the support since we started this journey creating our content, and we look forward to what the future has in store.

Happy Landings, and bounce one on for us,

Zach & Ben

Hey everyone!

A quick update: this week's upload can be found over at ‪@noseheavyproductions‬ - and is a fun full-scale flying edit from a recent formation air-to-air flight with a SeaRey.

We have a quick call to action for our community. In the next few weeks, we plan to release a video going over what we believe to be the reasons behind why the traditional AMA RC Club outreach model is nearly fully in the rear-view mirror - and what can be done to bring RC clubs back to life via modern outreach tactics and protect the future of our hobby.

We'd love to hear everyone's experiences with modern AMA (or similar abroad) clubs - good and bad - and what has worked for you all (or hasn't/or suggestions) in regard to fostering a club culture that leaves everyone feeling welcomed, supported, inspired to join, and part of a community. This also means no feelings of red tape, gate keeping, etc.

Thanks for the help, and we hope this future video will spark some much-needed discussions in our community in order to preserve the future of our hobby and its communities.

Happy landings, and bounce one on for us!

Zach & Ben
