The Huckberry x Citizen Promaster Tough watch arrived on my doorstep yesterday, and it's my gateway into the premium watch world. All I have to say is WOW! This titanium beauty looks and feels amazing. In addition to being the best everyday watch I could hope for, it has a solar power cell that will probably outlive me, so it should never need servicing. Talk about a one-and-done. Unique Gear Test Drive: I've been taking the Manta Sound Sleep Mask for a spin because it promises to solve a couple of my sleep problems.
1. My wife keeps her light on later than I do, and I need it to be dark.
2. Sometimes I like to listen to the Brain.fm sleep tracks while drifting off, but they work best with earbuds.
3. I'm a side sleeper, so earbuds are a no-go.
The Manta has been doing a great job at tackling all three issues. It makes it dark, it allows me to listen to anything via Bluetooth, and I'm able to sleep on my side because the built-in earbuds are flat and flexible (I can barely feel them) while still sounding good (not sure what magic they're employing there). The placement can even be adjusted to work with different-shaped heads.
They were a real life-saver when I traveled out of town recently. I usually sleep terribly when I'm not in my own bed.
