These stags were hiding deep in the woods the other day, standing perfectly still and blending in with their surroundings. If I hadn’t had my thermal with me, I would have walked straight past without ever knowing they were there. It really shows just how well wildlife can disappear into the landscape when they want to.

Meet Ollie!
Ollie is the kind of dog who doesn’t just walk… he bounces his way through life. Every leaf is an adventure, every stick is a treasure, and every person is a potential new best friend
This is when he spotted me. And then it happened… his whole face lit up, his ears perked, and he launched into that full-speed “I’ve just seen my favourite human!” sprint.
This photo captured the exact moment he came charging towards me, paws flying, pure joy in motion. It’s impossible not to smile when Ollie decides you’re the centre of his world for those few seconds.

These two little owls used to visit often, but I haven’t seen them for quite a while now. In this photo, they’re cuddled up together, blending perfectly into the wall it’s amazing how well they camouflage! Hopefully they’re still out there somewhere, keeping each other company.

A mother squirrel takes a break on a post, watching over her territory. 🐿️
Squirrels are incredibly attentive parents. Females often build several nests so they can move their babies if one becomes unsafe. Sitting somewhere high gives her a perfect view to keep watch for any threats.
