The IDF Widows & Orphans Organization (IDFWO) provides lifelong support to the spouses and children of Israel’s fallen soldiers, police officers, and security personnel.
Officially recognized by the State of Israel, IDFWO delivers emotional, financial, and social support to bereaved families across Israel.
Founded in 1991 and working in partnership with the Ministry of Defense, IDFWO operates 30+ programs, including financial aid, scholarships, trauma support, and community programs for widows and orphans of all ages.
Following October 7, hundreds of new widows and orphans joined our community, strengthening our mission to ensure no family faces loss alone.
