More OCMC Sunday @ 7PM EST! I decided to spice things up for myself this week by bringing on a fellow drummer: @AKLTrifecta ! Currently, he's been pursuing a casual, as he says it, career in Vtubing, though he has in the past uploaded drum covers of various anime and video games musics on his channel. As well, his taste seems to be pretty centered in both J-rock and nu-metal - as someone who was a more prog-flavored drummer from the jump, I'm curious to see how his talents have developed. Saturday @ 3PM EST: Roxx has been moving up in the world of Los Santos recently! Since we last left him, he's been continuing to work as a powerwasher, earning enough of an income to purchase his first touring vehicle: a BM Surfer van he's gracefully named Thor's Chariot. With both this and his Little Seoul apartment acquired, Roxx has taken to setting up auditions for a new incarnation of Roxx Brigade. Unfortunately for him, despite his relentless promotion this past week, there have been few sign-ups for this coming Saturday and the following so far. More GTA RP Saturday @ 3PM EST! When we last left Roxx Yersaux, he'd just made his way into Los Santos' social life, meeting a cadre of interesting characters, some of whom he might form a band with, and acquiring his drivers' license. In the week since (and yes, I have done a bit of offline grinding, but dw, you didn't miss much!!), he's been trying to get off the ground financially by working various odd jobs around the city, most notably power-washing, but the rates have just barely been enough to keep him going. As he continues to grind his way to financial stability, will he be able to lay the groundwork today for the re-emergence of his music career? Saturday @ 3PM EST! Trying something different starting this weekend - participation in a Grand Theft Auto V RP server with other Vtubers, specifically Lodestar RP! It's the first time I've ever done something this big, and I'm taking it as an opportunity to apply everything I've learned from Hair Metal History and distill it into a single character: Rodney Yerburgh, who had 15 minutes of fame in the late 80s/early 90s in a glam metal band as vocalist Roxx Yersaux. Down on his luck in the decades since, ol' Roxxy is moving to Los Santos in an attempt to start anew and find success again - hopefully in music, but who knows what the chaotic streets of the city have in store for him? She graduated last year from Berklee with concentrations in music production, vocal performance, and songwriting, all of which she's put into practice with her recently-released album, identity not found. Good news, everyone!! I finally managed to upload a version of HMH pt. 3 that circumvents the copyright issues that got it blocked globally. Sadly, it seems Russian and Belarussian viewers are still getting the shaft, but at the end of the day, I'd rather work on making the video as widely-viewable to my audience as possible in its original state and not playing whack-a-mole with copyright claimants just to make sure it can be seen by every potential viewer. In any case, I should have the Saturday premiere set up by tomorrow night - I'm going to a show tonight and won't have much time till then. Get hype, y'all, it's coming!!
