Acts of kindness

Welcome to my journey of building a sustainable safe haven in Thailand. After relocating, I'm tackling a one-year mission: transforming recycled materials and a tiny budget into a sustainable home and Activities Club for local children.

This project is a direct response to poverty and the aftermath of severe flooding in the community. Follow along as I build not just a structure, but a resilient, affordable "safe space" where kids can learn, play, and thrive.

This is about community, sustainability, and hope.

Acts of kindness

Thailand has a long and complex relationship with flooding, with monsoon seasons annually affecting parts of the country. However, some years stand out for their catastrophic severity, leaving entire villages submerged for months and creating stories of resilience, loss, and community.

The most profound and recent example of widespread village impact was the 2011 Thailand Floods, often called the "Great Flood of 2011." It was the worst flooding in terms of economic cost and duration in the country's modern history.

Imagine a classroom that travels to the children who need it most. This is the vision of รถเร้ดเรียนรู้ (Rót Rét Rianrúu) – The Ready-to-Learn Bus. Currently being developed by myself.
