Do you want to see more Early Game Builds Or Late Game Builds?

Now that all my current projects are finished, I'm deciding on what to work on next,
so this poll will decide what I end up working on

Would anyone be interested in seeing me do survival letsplays but instead of "get to the end of the game"
they are "Build a really nice looking village and show all the steps along the way"

So after way too long, I finally have another design for the village world file I’ve been working on! This blacksmithing building is meant for mid-game, somewhere between the Iron Age and Black Metal Age. I wanted it to function as both a house and a blacksmith, so it has a small bedroom, a place to brew mead, and a little workshop area outside.

This next video will also come with a (hopefully) new editing style that I’ve been meaning to try for ages but keep putting off until "the next video."

The plan is to make my videos way easier to follow by breaking them down into smaller, more focused segments. Right now, the usual flow is:

B-Roll > Tour > Floor Plan > Walls > Roof > End
with some extra parts mixed in for second floors, or detailing, when things get complicated.

The new format will split things up more, like this:

Floor Plan becomes:

Floor Outline
Floor Tiles
Stairs

Walls becomes:

Back Wall
Left Wall
Right Wall
Interior Wall(s)
Front Wall

This should make everything way easier to follow for viewers and, to be honest, a lot easier to record and plan for me. Hopefully, it'll speed up the process of turning builds into videos.

On another note: I’m probably going to remove and re-upload the first video in this series on YouTube soon. A few people were confused about bed placement in the early game before you unlock the hearth, so I’m adding some text to explain that you might need to move the bed when using a campfire. Might be a little over the top, but with a title like “Perfect Starter Base,” I want it to actually feel perfect at least by my own standards. So, sorry if you see the same video pop up in your feed again soon!

Hope you’re having an awesome day, and thanks for checking out what I’ve been working on!

Hey! Just a quick update on what has been happening and what I am working on.

I have been uploading all of my backlog of building guides to Patreon so they can be watched ad-free there.

But now that I am finished, I am going to start making starter bases and uploading the world files so that people can download them and use them to jumpstart their playthrough or get inspiration from them. The first of these will be available to every patron from the free tier and above, so I can get a sense of whether this is something people are interested in.

This way, when you're starting a new survival run, you can skip the base building and jump right into playing perfect for those of you who don’t have a ton of free time, or people who want to focus on helping their friends learn the game without needing to spend a ton of time building.

I was working on the first of these downloadable builds for the past 2 days, but I might have went a bit overboard as you can see from the first picture, I made a floor plan on while not playing valheim, and when I tried making said floor plan in valheim, I realised it would be less of a starter house, and more of a mansion.

So, after going back to the drawing board, I have decided to re-design my very first starter base as shown in the 3rd picture this is a building I have built across 4 different valheim saves and servers and as its been 4 years since I designed it, I feel like I can probably make some improvements to it. The improved floor plan can be seen in picture 4.

If the sharing world files idea is popular, I’m also considering making and uploading larger bases and possibly even villages for people to explore and have fun inside of.

If you have any suggestions, thoughts, or ideas, feel free to share them.

I’m still in the phase of figuring out how to offer the most value through the features Patreon provides.

Hey! I have a question for my audience, which I feel like I know the answer to.
Should I delete a video with a mistake on the floor plan and re-post it? (A very old video now)

Longer version, I was uploading my backlog to, Patreon which is going well, but I came across a video that I remember had an error on the floor plan, (a huge thing to have a mistake on) so I decided to fix it for the patreon version, but that doesnt sit right with me,

YouTube has a large incentive to not delete videos. All the views and potential views will be lost, and there is no guarantee a re-upload will do well, but at the same time, the idea of giving a worse experience does not sit right with me, so I will leave the decision up to this poll.

Hey! I want to share what I have been up to recently. The screenshot of the house is made from 2 players' base platforms, sharing the load for storage crafting, and everything else across the two bases. This is part of a larger hive city, which I will most likely share more of later with everyone.

But! onto what I have been working on channel-wise, I have been attempting to upload every one of my building guides to Patreon to make the ad-free perk I have on there more valuable since that is going to be on every reward tier in the long run, (and it has been nice having a place to backup all my videos online)

So far, I have uploaded every one of my guides on Valheim and Grounded,
But Patreon has another feature I am looking forward to using file attachments. When I make a starter base or a village, I can share the world file with everyone who would like to explore what I create, or it could be used by players who want to have a base from the very start of their survival game. (I'd make sure to clear all non-building related items in chests for those players and keep the world largely unexplored)

It's only one of the perks I have planned for later tiers, but it's one of the ones I'm most looking forward to seeing how people like it.

My goal is to make Patreon a valuable extension to what I can do for people, rather than just a place for people to give extra support. That being said, if there is anything people would like to see, or expect to see from a Patreon or something similar, Id love to know!

The next build I’m planning on making is a small Iron Age blacksmithing building.
Also, on a side note—I recently set up my Patreon! Right now it’s pretty bare bones, and I’d honestly recommend just grabbing the free tier until I’ve finished adding all the perks.

BUT I will be going more in-depth over there about how I come up with ideas and what I’m currently working on, so if that’s something that interests you, feel free to have a look!

The farmhouse build I was working on had a rather unexpected "turn" I have decided that instead of making practical and helpful builds focused on being re-creatable, I am instead going to focus on modern art style buildings with odd themes. The first of these is the upside-down farmhouse.

I hope this new creative direction will resonate with everyone. and I am happy to receive feedback, but just to make sure everyone has read this post fully, make sure to include the date this was posted in your comment.
