Empowered Conversations is a project of Age UK Salford and part of the Dementia Support Service.

Empowered Conversations delivers communication courses (Empowered Conversations and Moving Beyond Words) for family and professional Carers across Greater Manchester. The courses provide people with space to reflect on how they communicate and consider different ways to connect with people living with dementia.

Empowered Carers works with over 50 Salford families affected by dementia, providing them with regular one to one coaching and counselling support.

'In Conversation with ...' webinars bring conference quality talks around dementia from researchers, practitioners and people with lived experiences out to a wider audience.
