I took this photo on my 40th birthday in 2023, just a couple months after my first viral video. I was so happy! 40 was an age, like so many women, I feared. But I DANCED into my 40s and it's been the absolute BEST!!! Don't believe the lies we are told about aging! It's malarkey!! And I'm here to spread the truth! It just gets better, baby! 💋

I was still working as a waitress during the time I turned 40. I would spend my days auditioning and creating videos before my restaurant shifts at night. From the age of 14-40, I worked in the service industry. Some days I miss it because I do love people and the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant, but mostly I'm grateful to be off my feet for those long stretches. And I'm so grateful to be able to fully focus on what I love most...comedy! But comedy that is kind and can maybe help uplift others.🩷

During my most difficult days I would seek out videos to cheer me up. I often reflect on where i've been, where I'm at now, and how things have come full circle. Sending love to anyone struggling right now. I hope something awesome surprises you soon! I know it can be really hard to see when you're in the thick of it, but I believe there's always hope of a kick a$$ plot twist! ✨️

That moment when I realize that I've been filming a multi character Neon Girls episode for the last hour and my external mic wasn't plugged into my phone! Nooooooooo! All that work went right to my trash bin and I must start over, but I immediately heard my Mom's voice tell me it happened for a reason! That my angel was protecting me from going out or moving on to the next thing. ✨️

She's the original Neon Girl! This photo was taken 1974, Miami! She was on her way to her senior prom! She is the kindest, most beautiful person I know and she taught me to never sweat the small stuff. 💕🩷

In the 90s, magazines were life! As a teen, at certain points, I would save up money to buy subscriptions to publications like Teen Magazine and Young & Modern, but perhaps my favorite magazine of all was Rolling Stone! I was a music obsessed kid, particularly interested in female fronted acts. When this 30th anniversary addition of Rolling Stone "Women Of Rock" came out November 13th, 1997, it was like my holy grail! The cover features Courtney Love, Tina Turner and Madonna! ❤️ It sat on a music stand in my bedroom all 4 years I was in high school. I can't say for sure what happened to my original copy, but I just bought a replacement on ebay and it's bringing up so much wonderful nostalgia! I gotta find a new spot for it!

Hot Looks Salon is back open for biz, baby! It's been a couple weeks that I've been fighting the seasonal shumutz, but I just did a full aerobics work out dancing and poppin' hairspray tops and i'm feeling GOOD! I just needed the full makeover package and to move my body to some 80s music! 💅✨
