Pain in the Ass… Literally. But We’re Gonna Fix That! 💥🍑
Save this now—your postpartum booty will thank you later. (Trust me!)
👉🏻 Hey! I'm Trish ❤️ Labor Nurse Mama the birth expert who's crunchy with a side of medical—because balance is everything. 🌿⚕️
Hemorrhoids—aka the unwanted postpartum souvenir—can sneak up during pregnancy (hello, slow digestion!) or after delivery (all that pushing ain’t just for the baby). 😵💨
But good news—you don’t have to suffer in silence. Let’s get you some relief!
Holistic + Medical Solutions for Hemorrhoid Relief 🌿🩺
💦 Hydrate Like It’s Your Job – Water keeps things moving and prevents constipation.
🥑 Fiber It Up – Whole foods like leafy greens, flaxseeds, prunes, and chia seeds can work wonders.
🧘♀️ Move Your Body – Gentle stretches, squats, and prenatal yoga help digestion (and your pelvic floor!).
🍵 Herbal Allies – Dandelion tea or magnesium can gently encourage bowel movements.
💆♀️ Sitz Baths FTW – Soak in warm water with Epsom salt or chamomile to soothe and reduce inflammation.
🍑 Go Witchy – Witch hazel pads (like Tucks) help with swelling and discomfort.
🥶 Cold Therapy – Apply a soft ice pack for relief, but don’t overdo it.
🛋 Sit Smart – Use a donut pillow or lay on your side to reduce pressure.
💨 Ditch the Straining – Use a squatty potty or elevate your feet when on the toilet to make things way easier.
🌿 Healing Creams & Oils – Try a natural ointment with aloe vera, calendula, or coconut oil for soothing relief.
If pain persists or worsens, reach out to your provider—because you deserve to feel good postpartum. 💖

Dermal melanocytosis- is the official name of these flat, blue, or blue-gray birthmarks.
Also called slate gray nevi...
❤️ hit subscribe for more pregnancy birth and postpartum info and facts 🎉🎉
They are usually present at birth or show up a few weeks later.
People called them Mongolian spots back in the day, but please do not even...That is not acceptable at all.
The color is from a collection of melanocytes, cells that make up the pigment color of the skin.
Some spots disappear by 1, but most are gone by 3-5 years old, and some stay until adulthood.
They are more likely to affect people with darker skin.
There are some theories that, in some rare cases, they are linked to diseases, but most often, this is not the case.
