Not to brag, but I basically predicted the Kick/Hexa gimmick in a fanmade Burst beyblade I designed in middle school. I thought up a driver similar to Accel/Assault, but with a square shaped tip that would ricochet off the tornado ridge if it lost its spiral attack pattern and began coasting around the edge. TT clearly did it better, though, since six sides work better with the gimmick. Not to mention they separated the stadium floor contact point with the stadium edge contact points by shape, avoiding the immense stamina kill that my design created. In theory, my design would just act as a worse version of Spiral.

They should’ve make the Metal Dot bit and put it on the Draciel S remake for two reasons.

1. Buying the Draciel S stock combo with Dot and having to buy a customize set for the Metal Needle bit is atrociously greedy.
2. Metal Needle’s stadium cracking tendencies mixed with Dot’s shape (Jog Ball on a spike) would be so funny. It would literally shred stadiums to pieces and would make combos like DranBuster M-85 Metal Dot absolutely perfect for prematurely ending tournaments via lack of stadiums.

Ghasem Madal’s character arc in Beyblade Burst Evolution is unironically hilarious to me.


He starts out on his beyblade quest when his generic beyblade is broken by an asshole who showed no remorse, even though the beyblade was a gift to Ghasem from his DEAD FATHER.

He proceeds to train tirelessly to avenge this loss, getting a new beyblade and fighting his way up to a tournament where he’ll be able to fight the aforementioned asshole and avenge his late father.

Except, he is portrayed as the villain because that “asshole” was Silas Karlisle, teammate of Valt Aoi. When the rematch eventually does happen, Silas beats him AGAIN because of Valt’s plot armor, and his defeat is painted as a happy moment in the series, even though the bad guy won.

To add insult to injury, Red Eye subsequently appears out of nowhere and destroys his second beyblade. This concludes his character arc, as we never see or hear from Ghasem again after this event.


Looking back on Beyblade Burst Evolution, a lot of the decisions made by the writers are genuinely laughable, even though it is objectively the second best season of the Burst series.
