VERY IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: This channel is no longer actively uploading content, and nothing I posted on here was meant to be a political statement as I don't have an interest in politics. I decided to instead move onto a new channel, meant specifically for gaming content. Kinda got tired of the politics associated with my older content and this channel, so if you wanna check out my gaming videos, the link to my new channel is on the page banner and in the featured channels tab. I hope to see you there!

Update: I apologize if I caused some panic by temporarily privating my old videos on this channel, but I have decided that now the time is right to make them public again.

I still have no plans to return to this channel, I just did what I did this past weekend for safety reasons. Now that that time has passed, I have made it all public again. The comments are still off though, aside from my last upload.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience.

Hello everyone, it's been more than a year since I uploaded content here on this channel. Those of you who are newcomers here are probably wondering why I stopped uploading here, and you're also wondering why I disabled all comments on every video (except for my final video on this channel). It's essentially because I got tired of coming back here to seeing nasty comments from all sorts of people who love Soviet music too much, to the point where they treat it as dogma and start to hail monsters like Stalin as heroes (even though I carefully chose songs that never praised him), or people like Neo-Nazis or other similarly-minded assholes who vehemently hated said music for the opposite reasons. My intention of this channel was never political as I don't like politics in general, it was just to show my interest in Soviet military history, and part of conveying that interest was by uploading music that the Red Army Choir created over its existence. To still preserve the channel's content, I made the necessary decision to disable all comments on my videos. These nasty comments especially got worse when the whole Russian-Ukrainian War started, and as it still rages onward, I find it incredibly disgusting how people think I'm ok with pro-Russian sentiment here, which I certainly am not. Granted, I'm not entirely pro-Ukrainian either, as I definitely hate Azov Battalion and all other Neo-Nazi groups, but Russia is the clear aggressor of said war, and they should cease hostilities immediately, but that probably won't happen. TL;DR, tankies, Neo-Nazis, and much later, pro-Russian Z-spamming idiots ruined my desire to continue uploading Soviet music entirely.

As for what I've been up to on YouTube lately, I've been uploading weekly videos on my gaming channel, and honestly I feel like that has always been my true calling on YouTube. If you wish to continue watching my new content on that channel, I'll leave a link to my channel in the bottom of this post, so that you may choose to subscribe to it or not. Anyway, I wish everyone who isn't a tankie, Neo-Nazi, or pro-Putin asshole, a very pleasant evening.

Maybe we should start calling today Defeat Day because of how badly the Russians are getting their asses kicked in Ukraine right now lmao #Cope #Seethe #Mald

It's been a while since I last said anything publicly here, but given the current situation, I thought it necessary to clear the air.

In light of the recent events in Ukraine, I would like to have it said that, despite Ukraine's past governmental and military issues of questionable ideology, I condemn Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine. This situation could've been avoided with a peaceful negotiation but of course that didn't happen. I just hope now that WW3 doesn't happen and that hostilities end as soon as possible, though I'm guessing this is the final nail in the coffin for Russian and Ukrainian relations. The good news is that most Russian civilians are against the war, let's hope Putin doesn't get more retarded and pulls a Stalin.

Anyway I've thrown my two-cents in, currently praying for everyone involved, except for Putin, fuck you in particular.

EDIT: I do NOT in ANY WAY support Azov Battalion or ANY Neo Nazi group. Those people can go fuck themselves too.

Oh wow, this channel actually hit 20,000 subscribers, even though it's no longer active. If you're wondering if I still do content elsewhere, yes, I have a gaming channel that posts a video every Thursday, and it recently hit 1000 subscribers. I just started playing Halo Infinite's campaign on there today, so if you wanna check that video out, here's the link:

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last said/uploaded anything on this channel, and it seems as though a lot of newcomers subscribed here since I moved to a gaming channel back in May of this year. So tonight I just wanted to let said newcomers to this channel know that I no longer upload on this channel, mainly due to no longer having an interest in Soviet music content, and also the issue of its political undertones. As for my more recent content about my alternate-history universe, that was probably a project too big for me to effectively handle on a weekly basis, although I still occasionally update said universe on my DeviantArt page. As for all things YouTube, however, I still upload gaming videos on my new channel every Thursday (that includes today with a video of me and my friends playing the Battlefield 2042 beta), so if you want to see that video and what else my new channel has to offer, I'll leave the links below:

As some of you have seen thus far in the video below, I have made the very difficult but necessary decision to cease all production on this channel, and have decided to move on to a gaming-specific YouTube channel, called "Rik's Gaming Channel". The TL;DR of this situation is this:

1. I burnt myself out of CD Lore videos and it was just too big a project for me to do, and since it's a finite universe, I'm bound to run out of content eventually if I continued. If I get more ideas for CD, I'll probably just post it on my DeviantArt page.

2. I tried to get monetized again but with no success, so I just said fuck it, moving to a new channel, hopefully that'll go well but I'm not sure what the future holds.

3. Essentially I got sick of the political undertones of my main channel and I kinda just wanna distance myself from that.

Here's the link to my new gaming channel that I'll post content on for the foreseeable future:

Just a quick head's up, I'm not going to be able to make a Crimson Dawn Lore video for Monday, May 3rd, as I'm going to be busy with personal stuff, so instead I'm going to upload the last Project Wingman Let's Play episode on that day, and take a short break from making content on Thursday, May 6th.

Tune in next Monday, March 8th, where I take an in-depth look at the Second Russian Civil War in the Crimson Dawn universe. It's not done yet, but I finished recording the script today, and it's going to be 7 minutes long, making it my biggest CD Lore video to date. I hope you guys are just as excited as I am about it.
