It is pretty insane to think that for 3 years in a row Turn based games have won RPG of the year.
2023 - Baldurs Gate III
2024 - Metaphor ReFantazio
2025 - Clair Obscur Expedition 33

All 3 were nominated for GOTY, 2 out of 3 did indeed become Game of the Year.
