There’s a rumor speculating that ATSF 3751 might be relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico sometime in the future. I’m not sure if this is true, but please note that this may not be true. No idea if I’m supposed to be sharing this, but it was already given out on other social medias. The source came from trainorders.com.
However, the only thing I can say is true are the iconic SoCal private cars hitching on some of the Amtrak coast starlight trains in September and October.

You might be wondering where my Rivarossi SP Cab Forward is after a year I acquired it. There’s an issue with the second pair of driving wheels with the Cab Forward. They keep locking up whenever the cab forward runs and doesn’t even move. I tried lubricating everywhere, and even went inside the shell of the Cab Forward. Unfortunately, I broke a part off of the second pair of driving wheels for the cab forward. On the better side, it still runs, despite having the second pair of wheels locked up. I have clips of it from August 2025 that haven’t been publicly released, so I might compile Summer of 2025 GEBR HO clips later on.
The V&T Inyo 4-4-0 is doing well, but I can’t say the same for the J.W. Bowker. Inyo’s powered tender had a defect with the motor, and Bowker has a tender connector problem that I spent hours testing and swapping out tenders for both of the V&T engines. When I tested Bowker, let’s just say, the tender connector ended up derailing the engine and damaged the side rods. Bowker’s tender ended up going to Inyo with some tender shell exchanges.

Time to reveal on what I got from Facebook Marketplace for my 20th birthday. I’ve finally acquired 2 Rivarossi Virginia & Truckee locomotives, J.W. Bowker and Inyo! Only $85 plus a power pack too. Thanks to my family for letting me buy these!
I know Bowker has a questionable paint job, but we’ll not worry about that now.

After getting something in Pleasanton (which will be revealed later), I unexpectedly ran into the Union Pacific intermodal Oakland - North Platte in Niles Canyon, but luckily, thanks to my dad, we managed to chase the IOANP to both Verona and the Greenwood Golfing Course in Pleasanton.
I always wished to see the IOANP ever since I encountered the BNSF Executive Mac 9792 after Niles Canyon, and today, my early 20th birthday gift made that come true!

The California Railway Series Episode 55: The Unleashed Terror of Foamers is nearly finished and will be premiering on August 12th at 5 PM western time. I just need to add music and make a thumbnail, but otherwise, the episode is 95% done. Thank you all for waiting.
Next plan, I’ll be working on the remastered episodes coming out in late September or early October. Here are the list of remastered episodes planned for October;
Special Visitors 3751 and 2926 doubleheader episode. This one doesn’t count as remastered as this was a cancelled episode of TCRS. Footage will remain as it did when filmed in summer 2023. Only a few clips refilmed. There will be inconsistencies like smoke texturing changes and Andy’s model. (ATSF 5036)
Chased By The Thing (I don’t like how dramatic it is, especially the crash. Half of the episode is a new plot to replace the old one)
Danny & Logan Gets Spooked (will be remastered because it’s a carbon copy of Duncan Gets Spooked. New plot most of the episode)
SP 18 Gets Spooked (there’ll be a title change for this one too, but I don’t like the first version of the episode. With the leaks of the original draft of Duncan Get Spooked, some of those elements will be used for the SP 18 Gets Spooked remastered version)

5 years ago, 8/7/2021, was a great day in the Central Valley of California. First stop was the BUGX Chemurgic yard filled with mostly retired locomotives that will never turn another revenue wheel. Then to the AL Gilbert Company grain facility at Ceres to find GP10 2004 and GMTX 150. And lastly, Modesto but I don’t have any good photos of the BNSF train I saw.
This day felt as if it was yesterday. The hot weather of the Central Valley, exploring the locomotives, and feeling the calm through rural fields.

Wasn’t intending to catch BUGX 1322 at Warm Springs, but happened to be in the area. 1322 has been switched to the front of the train for the Salinas Hauler to take tonight. I’ve seen many foreign locomotives in Milpitas, but a Santa Fe bluebonnet GP7u is probably the most unusual thing I’ve seen in the South Bay Area. Also photos of interesting freight cars that likely might be the MOAOA.
