Itās a bunch of songs that I wrote for the musical theatre adaptation of āthe unlikely pilgrimage of harold fryā which opens at Theatre Royal Haymarket in January .

āWalk upon the waterā is a big , bold , uplifting , āyou can do itā kind of song that inspires Harold to head out on his pilgrimage .
It is also fundamentally a gospel song ā¦ So it was my absolute pleasure to collaborate with the phenomenal āŖ@thekingdomchoir9585ā¬ - theyāve raised it to a whole new level and it was an experience that I will never ever forget . a true joy .

I really do hope that you all enjoy the album . I recommend reading the book before / after / during listening to it ā¦. Not essential but will help to make sense of the lyrics ā¦ plus its a wonderful and deeply moving read by Rachel Joyce .

Tickets for which also go on general sale TOMORROW !!!!!! This album is a selection of my favourite songs from the show and a few others that didnāt end up making it in to the final piece . Iām so glad that theyāve found a home on this record . I always wanted to create the āpassenger versionsā of these songs . I absolutely love how theyāve been arranged and orchestrated for the musical (big shout out to Jeremy Holland Smith !!!) but I also wanted to make sure that there were versions out in the world that are completely true to how I wrote them in the first place . Hopefully the two will complement each other nicely ā¦. The album will be released on vinyl and cd in January and if youāve signed up to my mailing list youāll be sent a link to pre-order a limited edition signed copy ahead of everyone else . Secondly , and in celebration of this wonderful news , Iām delighted to be releasing a new song and video today with the brilliant āŖ@jack_t_wolfeā¬ !
Jack played āthe balladeerā in Chichester and is a phenomenal actor , singer and human being !!
The song is called āsong for the countrysideā and it accompanies Harold in the moment that he decides to set off on his pilgrimage . Itās an awakening , a joyful realisation of life and spring and new beginnings . A remembering of the beauty that has always been right outside his front door .
The video will be premiered here on YouTube at 11am uk time today - Jack and I will be chatting and answering a few questions in the comments !

Just wanted to tell you about our latest , and undoubtedly most exciting project to date ā¦.
10 weeks ago today my amazing partner Rebekah gave birth to a baby girl .
I thought it was about time that we introduced you all to little Bonnie Rebekah Rosenberg š„°
She is the most wonderful little human and weāre completely and utterly in love with her .
Sheās healthy and happy and weāre loving settling in to life as a family .
Here too is a song that I wrote for her ā¦. (Of course I did š) and Imaginatively named ābonnieās songā š¤
The crazy thing is , I started writing it before either of us knew that we were expecting ā¦.
I was on tour last summer waiting to go on stage at a festival and absentmindedly playing the guitar in the tour bus when I stumbled across the chords and the words started to form ā¦.
I didnāt know what I was writing , often songs can start like that for me ā¦. i just start writing them and eventually it becomes clear what / who theyāre about ā¦.
A few days later when I got home Bek told me that she was pregnant .
I like to think that perhaps this song had already been written for her somewhere and I just happened to uncover it .
Its been 8 years since I was last over that way and I canāt wait to come back ā¦.
So so so happy to finally get to play in INDIA , CHINA and THAILAND for the first time and also return to SINGAPORE and HONG KONG ( āŖ@clockenflapHKā¬ )
Tickets for all shows will go on sale on tuesday 17th of June at 10am local time !!
